Thread Portrait Hangs in Two Exhibitions & Wins Best in Show!
- January 2026, "Ellison & Ayla" will hang in "Excellence in Fibers X" at the Schack Center in Everett, Washington.
- "Emaye, Beloved Mother," the thread portrait of my mom, was accepted into "A Show of Courage," at Red Gate Gallery, spring 2025.
- My work is going to Paducah! "Ellison & Ayla" was juried into the show, "Fantastic Fibers" at the Yeiser Art Center Gallery through May 2025.
- The thread portrait of my kids, "Ellison & Ayla," was selected to appear in the International Fiber Arts Magazine, "Fiber Arts Now" (Winter 2025, Vol. 14) and wins 2nd place!
- I am beyond honored to have my piece accepted into the juried exhibition, Deeply Rooted, at Woman Made Gallery in Chicago. Please read all about the juror and the show in the gallery's Newsletter. The exhibition opens April 8, 2022 and runs through May 21st.
